Themes for 2018 are quality of advertising and responsibility

The focus of IAB Finland’s 2018 is on the quality and accountability of advertising. The EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, will come into force on May 25th 2018 and will become an important focus area for IAB Finland’s activities. “GDPR brings a lot of good things to the industry, it forces the players to pay attention to advertising coverage and accountability both in their own and in their chosen partners,” says IAB Finland’s Executive Director Birgitta Takala.
